This is a reminder that next Wednesday, September 28, 2011, we will upgrade our Open-Xchange email servers to use the latest software version. This upgrade will occur during our regularly scheduled maintenance window: 10PM September 28th to 2AM September 29th PDT. (4 hour downtime window)
During this maintenance window, you will not be able to use Open-Xchange Webmail to send or receive emails. However, other email clients such as Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, or any other POP3 and IMAP-compatible client will continue to work normally.
This upgrade of our Open-Xchange email servers will introduce stability improvements, bug fixes, and several new features, including: * Start Page Redesign – The new start page offers a clear, new layout for easier use and customization. * Vacation Notice Improvement – Save time by defining when your vacation notice will be turned on and off so it instantly deactivates when returning to the work place. * Calendar Improvements – Make managing team calendars easier by changing the level of detail on appointments, hiding non-office hours, and defining appointments by confirmation status. * Bulk Email Functions – Save time by marking all emails as read within a folder rather than marking one at a time. * Email Filter Improvements – Create new email filters quickly and easily with the auto-fill function. * Social Media Enhancements – New plug-ins for Facebook, Twitter, and more.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Open-Xchange email server upgrade, please contact Customer Support at (360) 449-5810.
Sincerely,
Dotster Customer Support www.dotster.com
